Government Grant Given to Professor to Study How Technology can Advance Social Justice

The National Science Foundation will fund a study led by Coleen Carrigan, a professor of gender, race, culture, science and technology studies at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo that will explore how technology can be used to advance social justice. Or, in other words, a government-funded study will explore a progressive academic idea.
