Graduate students in at least fifty universities across the country protested the recent Republican Congress-majority tax reform bill in the House of Representatives and in the Senate. Walk-out protests and teach-in forums were among the methods used by protesting graduate students.

The proposed tax reform bills by GOP politicians in the House included eliminating tax benefits for college undergraduate and graduate students, but it was not a part in the Senate bill passed early Saturday morning.
