Gym Space at Stanford University Bars Men for Four Hours a Week for Women-Only Workouts

Stanford University bars male students from working out at one of its gym facilities because some female students complained about working out in a large gym space with other students, male and female. The university decided to bar men from working out in the gym for four hours a week.

Also, the university allows men who identify as women to work out with the female students during this time.

Civil rights complaints have been lodged against the university for potentially violating Title IX regulations, which regulates sex discrimination.
