Iowa State University Students Spend $1,000 for ‘Tree of Oppression’

Add tree activism to your list of leftist student activities: It cost Iowa State University students about $1,000 to plant a ‘tree of oppression’ to symbolize the struggle against oppression. A message next to the tree read:

“This tree represents the countless identities that face oppression on campus each day. Each color represents a different identity waiting to break the chains of bondage.”

Planting trees to symbolize the Left’s fight against oppression is a new tactic, but one would think their money would have been best spent elsewhere.
