Is Islamaphobia A Matter Of Faith?

The director of the Isaiah Foundation believes it is and shared that belief with students at St. Olaf’s College.

According to Kyle Hooten, writing in Campus Reform, Doran Schrantz told students at St. Olaf’s, ““There is a reworking inside the Department of Homeland Security that is absolutely systematic and is absolutely targeting Muslims and people of color.”

Isaiah is a faith-based group that Schrantz runs which is active on religious issues such as voter identification, which they don’t like. As well, they partner with other spiritual groups, such as the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), which appears regularly on her linked-in account and her Twitter feed.

St. Olaf’s was originally a Lutheran school.
