University of California-Irvine law professor complained about Scalia’s sarcastic remarks in his written opinions, as the College Fix reported:
“Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of the University of California-Irvine’s law school, is speaking out against the allure of Scalia’s writing style to his own students.”
““Lately my students have been turning in legal briefs laced with derision and ad hominem barbs” reminiscent of Scalia’s opinions, Chemerinsky wrote in a Los Angeles Times op-edlast week. Scalia’s tone sets “a terrible example for young lawyers.””
