Lecturer’s Essay on Gender Gap Myth in Tech Industry Criticized by Peers

A lecturer at the University of Washington saw public outcry erupt in response to an essay he wrote, which talked about how women choose not to go into the technology industry as it is a personal choice to choose other professions. Senior lecturer Stuart Reges pointed out that some women “simply aren’t interested in computer science,” among several claims.
