One of the college administrators at the University of Missouri, Janna Bassler, was involved in the Melissa Click-student journalist spat. Then-professor Click was caught on-video aggressively confronting a student journalist who was covering Black Lives Matter protests on the college campus. Bassler was also a part of the administrators attempting to shield protesters from the cameras.
Bassler’s administrative position was eliminated in budget cuts, but it is not clear if she was being moved to another administrative position, or not. The university has not responded to inquiries from the press.
