Science Teachers have to Combat ‘Whiteness’ in their Classrooms

Two college professors at the University of Colorado-Denver asserted science teachers have to combat “whiteness” in their classrooms. Professors Cheryl E. Matias and Paul T. Le wrote a joint research essay on “how whiteness impacts science education” and claimed that “whiteness” creates a unseen racial bias in the science community.
