Statistics are not ‘Colorblind,’ Professors Allege

Three British professors alleged that statistics end up serving “white racial interests” because the field of statistics cannot be “colorblind.” David Gillborn is the lead professor and works at the University of Birmingham, and whose study (with two co-authors) said statistics can “frequently encode racist perspectives beneath the facade of supposed quantitative objectivity.”
