The University of Minnesota is facing a lawsuit from the Young America’s Foundation over the university moving an event with conservative speaker Ben Shapiro to a smaller venue over alleged security concerns.
Ben Shapiro’s speech at UConn led administrators to offer counseling for their students, in case they are offended by his conservative views and opinions.
UCLA backed down from demands that if 70% of an event’s attendees were not students, faculty or staff, the Republican student chapter had to pay all security-related fees for the event.
