As we observe Memorial Day today, we at Accuracy in Academia want to express our heartfelt gratitude for all those who served or are serving in America’s military branches. Their sacrifice cannot be adequately expressed…
We at Accuracy in Academia remember Memorial Day and what it truly means: Remembering the sacrifices of our servicemen and servicewomen.
Let’s remember the reason behind Memorial Day. It’s not hot dogs or grilling burgers, but to remember our fallen servicemen and women.
Maybe the professor in question ought to spend a day in a soldier’s shoes and see what Memorial Day is about, or visit memorials of our war dead and veterans across the country.
For a holiday that remembers the service of our military veterans past and present, it seems ridiculous to make it a racially-charged holiday. But, Dartmouth College has done that.
We at Accuracy in Academia remember all the sacrifices of American servicemen and servicewomen of years past and present. God bless you and your families and loved ones, and God bless America.
