Texas A&M Student Government Resolution Supports Israel

Texas A&M’s student government voted overwhelmingly to support Israel in a recent resolution, contrary to what several academic institutions, administrators and student governments are doing on their college campuses. The Boycott, Divest and Sanction Israel movement, known as BDS, appears to have lost this fight at Texas A&M University, which has a history of being pro-Israel.

The vote for the resolution, which highlighted the student government’s support for their Jewish community at the university, was passed by a 38-6-4 vote last week.
