Traditional Marriage & Jesuit Accounting

At Georgetown, the former runs afoul of the latter. “A student group that advocates traditional Catholic teaching on man-woman marriage is disputing Georgetown University’s explanation for why some of its funds have either gone missing or been re-routed to LGBT-friendly organizations,” Daniel Payne reports in The College Fix. “At least $400 intended for Love Saxa never made it into the group’s coffers, including $50 that went to the Catholic university’s ‘LGBTQ Resource Center Reserve’ and $100 to a campus a cappella group that partners with a D.C.-area pro-LGBT organization.”

“There’s still no explanation why a $250 donation simply went missing, and Love Saxa has reason to believe that it received additional donations from a campus phone-a-thon that likewise never showed up in its account, according to a lawyer for the group.”
