Two Universities Reject Symbolic ‘Sanctuary Campus’ Designation

Indiana University and New York University rejected student efforts to designate their campuses as a “sanctuary campus” from federal immigration law enforcement agencies. Indiana’s university said that the designation has no legal basis and that was a reason to reject the request.
