University of Arkansas Charges for Anti-Trump Course on DACA

The University of Arkansas offers a non-credit course on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and how to better resolve the legal issue facing DACA recipients, who are also known as “Dreamers” due to the DREAM Act. The DREAM Act is a proposal in Congress that aims to allow a path for citizenship for DACA recipients.
The course discusses on why President Donald Trump’s decision to rescind the Obama-era DACA protection and is taught by a pro-DREAM Act author named William Schwab.
The university’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute will charge $36 for non-members and $21 for members. The institute charges $50 for students to join the institute as a member.
