University of Mary Washington Administrators Axe Printing Budget for Student Newspaper, Get Reasons Mixed Up

The Blue and Gray Press, the student newspaper for the University of Mary Washington, saw its printing budget axed by the school administration over alleged environmental concerns. But, the environmental reasoning stands in contrast to previous statements by university administrators, who were unhappy with the student reporting on various issues.

The student newspaper had been publishing issues for at least ninety-six years prior to the printing budget being axed.
