University of Maryland Students want Hate Speech Classified as ‘Cult Activity’

Granted, this effort came after a black non-student (but was a student at a nearby university) was killed by an alleged white supremacist on the University of Maryland’s College Park campus. However, hate speech is a protected form of speech under the U.S. Constitution. Changing it to “cult activity” would not appear to do much, but freedom of speech is still freedom of speech.
