University of Oregon Spent $41,500 to have Tah-Nehisi Coates Speak for 35 Minutes
Why did Tah-Nehisi Coates, a microaggression and race scholar, speak for only 35 minutes? Coates did not stick around for a question-and-answer session that was scheduled after his remarks. But the university is on the hook for the five-figure sum owed to Coates.
