University of Texas Can’t Hide Scandal behind Privacy Laws

FERPA (or the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) is commonly used to hide information from the public, but this time, the University of Texas-Austin can’t stop a scandal from ballooning in the public eye. There are accusations that unqualified students were admitted to the university due to political connections.
