From AFA Journal:

On November 30, women students at University of Wisconsin-Madison met to receive headscarves to wear throughout the day. It was Hijab for a Day, sponsored by University of Wisconsin Muslim Student Association and the Wisconsin Union Directorate Global Connection as part of Islam Appreciation Week. The goal was to spread awareness about Islam, counter “Islamaphobia,” and normalize Muslim female practices.
