Utah Art Teacher Terminated over Classical Art Assignment

An art teacher at Lincoln Elementary School was canned after he assigned his students a classical art exercise, which included classical art pieces such as Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. Several students didn’t appreciate the classical art and complained to him, which eventually made it to the administration.

The teacher, Mateo Rueda, plans on appealing the termination decision.
