Wow: MLA Rejected Anti-Israel BDS Boycott

The Modern Language Association (MLA), whose annual convention we cover each year, rejected a resolution by some of its members to boycott Israel. The anti-Israel boycott movement, known as Boycott, Divestment and Sanction (BDS), was rejected before by the association.

The association said that it would contradict a previous resolution to not boycott scholars, which the BDS resolution would actually do.
